SUNCOATING® CERAMIC MUG PRODUCTION LINES IN ZIBO, SHANDONG

Our SUNCOATING® ceramic mug production lines are located in Zibo, the city of porcelain even on a global level. The established plant covers a vast scale for machinery, with sophisticated and resourceful networks and profound knowledge from years of ceramic manufacture, to support enormous capacity of daily ceramic production in high speed, effective cost, and premium quality stability.

RAW MATERIAL MILLING & MIXING

Clay materials come from a mixture of raw substance debris and certain ratio of liquid additives. Industrial production enrolled heavy rolling grinder for efficient compressing and accurate mixing to give the desired clay for mold.

PROTOTYPE & MOLD

Molding clay into mug uses a prototype article made of plaster. While you'll need a mass amount of them to keep a high-speed molding line running, it's on a plant's capacity and profession to ensure exactness and consistency all the way through.

SLIP CASTING FOR FORMATION

Mass production of ceramic applies slip casting technique to shape the clay in a mold. In the casting machine, a pressing head presses down while the bottom mug mold spins rapidly. Through the joint pressure, the clay gradually stabilizes in a mug body shape.

GREENWARE DEHYDRATION

On formation, we got the prototyped greenwares which can still be easily deformed. Careful treatment and dehydration process is needed to evaporate the water within and get it soundly hardened.

OVEN FIRING

To finally solidify a mug, a couple of firing processes are involved. In the Shandong factory, the 120 meters long tunnel oven provides 1200℃ heat to form tremendous volume of ceramic mugs in every day cycles, everything super stable, productive, and cost-effective.

QUALITY INSPECTION

The completed pieces will go through a primary inspection check. This process is mainly for screening out mugs of faulty formation, and controlling the defect rate to the greatest extend.

SUBLIMATION COATING PROCESS

All inspected mugs are then sent to get sublimation coating in our coating line where factory environment is vigorously controlled in dust, temperature, humidity, and ventilation, with automated coating spray machinery, to ensure standard of high quality and consistency.

QUALITY ASSESSING AND GRADING

On finished mug blanks, secondary quality inspection checks are imposed. In this round well-trained QC members give final and differential assessment on the whole performance of a mug, and classify them in different grades.
